| dc.description.abstract | Předložená diplomová práce si klade za cíl nastínit pomocí kulturně-historického exkursu fenomén hudebního života Plzně v letech 1848-1918. Nejprve nás z důvodu jasnějšího náhledu zcela obecně uvádí do historicko-politických souvislostí města dané doby. V následujících kapitolách se poté snaží zhruba postihnout jednotlivá odvětví hudby, která byla stanovena podle interpretů i vlastních muzikálních odvětví. Jde tedy jak o projevy profesionálů a vůbec vznik profesionalizované hudby, tak i o uskupení a jednotlivce působící na bázi amatérské. Přirozeně bylo do sledovaného souhrnu včlenit též hudbu produkovanou na plzeňských kůrech a v devatenáctém století i vysoce výkonné a oblíbené kapely vojenského a polovojenského charakteru. Konečně je pak tato práce doplněna statí věnující se slavnostem a zábavám, kde hudba plnila významnou a nepřehlédnutelnou roli. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This diploma thesis aims to outline a phenomenon of the musical life of Pilsen between 1848 and 1918 through cultural-historical research. The first thing to be described is general historical-political context of the town at that time. In the following chapters the thesis tries to give a survey of particular branches of music, which were set according to interpreters and also according to musical branches. It concerns performances of professionals and the rise of professionalized music on the one hand, and groups and individuals - amateurs on the other hand. It was natural to include the music produced in Pilsen´s choirs and military or half-military groups, which were very popular at the time of the 19th century into the period under view. Finally the thesis is appended with article addressed to celebrations and entertainments, in which the music played very important and unforgetable role. | eng |
