| dc.description.abstract | Vyhledávání vyšší teploty následně po příjmu potravy nazýváme postprandiální
termofýlie. Postprandiální termofýlie napomáhá zvýšit stravitelnost potravy. My jsme měřili preferovanou tělesnou teplotu u druhu Uromastyx acanthinurus. Testovali jsme deset jedinců a každý pokus jsme dvakrát opakovali. U sledovaných jedinců byla postprandiální termofýlie prokázána. V průměru se preferovaná teplota zvýšila o 3,82°C po podání potravy. Na marginální hladině významnosti nám vyšla významná pozitivní závislost délky jedinců na rozdílu teplot před a po podání potravy. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | Postprandial thermophily (PT) is an increase of preferred body temperature
following food consumption. PT helps to maximize digestive functions. We compared
the preferred body temperature after feeding in a species Uromastyx acanthinurus. We tested ten individuals and repeated each experiment twice. Our results clearly
demonstrate the occurrence of postprandial thermophily in Uromastyx acanthinurus.
The average temperature raised 3,82°C after feeding. We found the marginal
significance of the relationship between temperature before and after feeding and the length of the individual. | eng |
