| dc.description.abstract | Práce zjišťuje znalosti romského jazyka u romských dětí z Českého Krumlova. V teoretické části je stručně popsán původ Romů, historie Romů na našem území, romský jazyk a jeho zvláštnosti. Důraz je kladen na soužití Romů a majoritní společnosti v Českém Krumlově.
Praktická část obsahuje výsledky výzkumu, který se snažil vypozorovat, nakolik ovládají
rom ké děti romský jazyk. Dále jsou zde srovnávány výsledky výzkumu s odbornou
literaturou, která se týká vzdělávání romských dětí a jejich znalostí romského jazyka. Součástí
jsou i poznatky o dětském chápání rozdílu mezi ''romštinou'' a ''cikánštinou''. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis finds out Gypsy children’s knowledge of the Gypsy language in Český Krumlov. The theoretical part briefly covers the origin of the Gypsies, the history of the Gypsies in our territory, and the Gypsy language and its specifics. The coexistence of the Gypsies and the major society in Český Krumlov is emphasized in the thesis. The practical part presents the outcomes of a research which asked about the extent of Gypsy children’s knowledge of the Gypsy language. Further, the outcomes are compared with professional literature which deals with Gypsy children’s education and their knowledge of
the Gypsy language. The practical part also includes information about children’s understanding the difference between two Czech words, both calling the Gypsy language, ''romština“ (a correct, neutral term) and ''cikánština“ (a common spoken term, sometimes
