| dc.description.abstract | Práce se zabývá komparací prozaických děl Oscara Wilda s vybranými díly autorů české dekadence. V úvodní části jsou shrnuty kulturní a sociální podmínky utvářející podobu dekadence v Evropě na konci 19. století, s přihlédnutím ke specifickým okolnostem v Anglii a v Čechách. Je rozebírán význam časopisu Moderní revue a sbírky Prostibolo duše pro českou dekadentní literaturu. V další části je popsán život Oscara Wilda a jeho vliv na anglickou společnost. V komparativní části jsou srovnávány Wildovy prozaické texty s texty Jiřího Karáska ze Lvovic a Arthura Breiského. Rozbor si všímá výskytu témat typických pro dekadentní tvorbu (umění, krása, homosexualita, tajemství, tajemno, imaginace, zánik a smrt) a snaží se nalézt paralely mezi díly srovnávaných autorů. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis deals with the comparison of the prosaic works of Oscar Wilde and the selected works of the Czech decadent authors. Cultural and social conditions forming the nature of the decadence of the late 19th century Europe are summarized in the first part. The specific aspects of both English and Czech background are emphasized. The impact of the journal Moderní revue and the book of poetry Prostibolo duše on Czech decadent literature is also analyzed in this part. The life of Oscar Wilde and his impact on the English society are described in the next part. The comparative part is formed by the comparison of Oscar Wilde’s prose to the texts of Jiří Karásek ze Lvovic and Arthur Breisky. The analysis searches for the typical decadent topics (art, beauty, homosexuality, secret, mystery, imagination, doom and death) and the parallels to the works of the compared authors. | eng |
