| dc.description.abstract | Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnotit význam Mezinárodního dudáckého festivalu pro kulturní tradice strakonického regionu. Práce je rozdělena do tří částí.
První část se zabývá historií dud jako hudebního nástroje a strakonickými dudáky, kteří stáli v 19. století u zrodu dudácké tradice ve Strakonicích.
Druhá část se věnuje Mezinárodnímu dudáckému festivalu, konkrétně jeho vzniku a dnešní podobě. Hlavní zřetel je kladen na účast zahraničních a domácích hudebních souborů, organizační strukturu a partnery za posledních pět ročníků festivalu konajících se v letech 2004 až 2012.
Tématem třetí, praktické části je povědomí obyvatel Jihočeského kraje o dudácké tradici a Mezinárodním dudáckém festivalu, jež bylo zjišťováno v rámci kvantitativního výzkumu. Výsledky výzkumu představují porovnání tohoto povědomí mezi obyvateli strakonického okresu a obyvateli ostatních okresů Jihočeského kraje. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to assess the significance of the International Bagpipe Festival for cultural traditions of the region of Strakonice. The thesis is divided into three main parts.
The first part describes the history of bagpipes as a musical instrument and tells the stories of the bagpipers of Strakonice who stood at the birth of the bagpipe tradition in Strakonice in the 19th century.
The second part of the thesis deals with the International Bagpipe Festival, specifically with its history and nowadays' structure. The main consideration is placed on the participation of music ensembles from the Czech Republic and abroad, organizational structure and partners of the last five years of the festival which took place between 2004 and 2012.
The topic of the third (practical) part is the knowledge of the bagpipe tradition and the International Bagpipe Festival among inhabitants of South Bohemia. The knowledge has been gathered by a quantitative research whose results represent the comparison of the knowledge between inhabitants of the Strakonice District and inhabitants of other districts of South Bohemia. | eng |
