| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou artrózy nosných kloubů ve spojitosti s životním stylem klientů. Všímá si především negativních stránek a rizikových faktorů, které k onemocnění vedou a zhoršují ho až do stádia, kdy je nutná implantace totální endoprotézy. Mezi rizikové faktory patří nadváha - obezita (vysoké BMI), některé druhy sportů, úrazy kolenního kloubu, kouření, sedavý způsob života aj. Součástí této práce je rozsáhlý dotazníkový výzkum u klientů ortopedického oddělení nemocnice České Budějovice. Analýzou dat byla zjištěna spojitost mezi artrózou, nadváhou/obezitou a životním stylem klientů. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis deals with arthritis of weight-bearing joints related to the lifestyle of clients. It focuses on negative aspects and risk factors which lead to the disease, and which worsen the disease to the point when total joint prosthesis is necessary. The risk factors include overweight and obesity (high BMI), certain kinds of sports, knee injuries, smoking, sedentary lifestyle etc. A part of this thesis is an extensive questionnaire survey among clients of orthopaedic department of the hospital in České Budějovice.
