| dc.description.abstract | Cílem této bakalářské práce je stručná analýza vývoje archetypu hrdiny od nejstarších známých hrdinských eposů z Mezopotámie až po moderní hrdiny akčních thrillerů. Dalším cílem práce je popis základních archetypů vyskytujících se v pohádkách a dětské a fantastické literatuře. Nedílnou součástí práce je i snaha o aplikaci monomytického schématu Josepha Campbella zvaného "Hrdinovo dobrodružství" na konkrétní díla fantastické literatury. Práce aplikuje monomytické schéma na tetralogii Odkaz Dračích jezdců od spisovatele Christophera Paoliniho. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The objective of this Bachelor thesis is a brief analysis of the hero archetype development from the oldest known Mesopotamian heroic epics to the modern thriller action heroes. The other objective of the thesis is a description of basic archetypes occurring in fairy tales and children's and fantasy literature. An integral part of this thesis is also an attempt to apply Joseph Campbell's Monomyth scheme called The Hero's Journey to a particular works of fantasy literature. The thesis applies the Monomyth scheme to the Inheritance Cycle tetralogy written by Christopher Paolini. | eng |
