| dc.description.abstract | Práce se zabývá současnou anglickou dětskou fantasy tvorbou autorky Jenny Nimmové. První část je úvodem do života samotné spisovatelky, protože autorka u nás není běžně vyhledávanou spisovatelkou. Další část popisuje vývoj a znaky fantasy tvorby, do které se prolínají i znaky gotické literatury a symbolika velšských legend. Práce se také zabývá interpretací problematiky tajemství, které obestírá hned několik postav. Dochází také k analýze jednotlivých dílů, v nich vyobrazených postav, míst, rituálů a trestů. V závěru je hlavní postava porovnávána s postavou Harryho Pottera v tvorbě J. K. Rowlingové. | cze |

The first part is a brief introduction to the Nimmo´s life, because the writer is not a well known artist in our country. The next part describes a progression and signs of fantasy. Fantasy is connected with Gothic literature and Nimmo is typical of her usage of symbols of Welsh legends. The thesis also deals with an issue of secret, which is typical for several figures. The next part is an analysis of particular stories, figures, places, rituals and punishments. The final part compares the main character with Harry Potter, written by J. K. Rowling. | eng |
