| dc.description.abstract | Rigorózní práce se zabývá styly učení v rámci hodin anglického jazyka.
V teoretické části své práce se soustředím na vysvětlení základních pojmů
souvisejících se styly učení, hledám jejich shody a rozdíly. Uvádím zde taktéž
klasifikaci stylů učení, a to jak podle jednotlivých autorů, tak podle upotřebitelnosti
stylů učení ve výuce anglického jazyka. Mimo jiné se věnuji otázce stylů učení a
popsáno je také zařazení anglického jazyka v kurikulárních dokumentech České
republiky, opět s ohledem na styly učení. V empirické části práce se snažím zjistit
styly učení u jedné konkrétní třídy studentek střední odborné školy pedagogické.
K provedení případové studie je použit strukturovaný rozhovor, na jehož základě jsou
porovnány styly učení jednotlivých studentek a následně vytvořen popis stylů učení
třídy jako celku. Zjištěných výsledků je použito k posouzení mé dosavadní práce se
třídou a k navržení případných změn v další výuce. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis deals with learning styles and their usage within the English
language classes. I have focused the theoretical part on the definition of the term
learning style and its correlation to other terms from the similar fields of study. It is
also here, where I indicate the classification of learning styles. The classification is
based on the work of many authors and on the adequate utilization of learning styles
within the English language teaching. On top of that, I focus on the teaching styles
related issues and I discuss the position of the English language within the
contemporary educational system in the Czech Republic. In the empirical part of my
thesis I try to analyze the learning styles of a group of third grade English language
students at the pedagogical secondary school. To achieve this goal I used a pen and
paper interview which enabled me to gain the data necessary to describe the learning
styles of the individual students as well as the whole group. Based on the acquired
information I tried to propose some changes which could help me to improve my
teaching approach in the future. | eng |
