| dc.description.abstract | Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat populární anglický tým Lotus s bohatou historií, který je nedílnou součástí prestižních závodů Formule 1, obrovského sportovního fenoménu. Práce se zabývá samotnými začátky týmu, jeho pokroky, největšími úspěchy, nejslavnějšími závodními jezdci, postupným úpadkem týmu a posléze jeho odchodem z královské série motosportu. Rovněž popisuje návrat Lotusu na startovní pole o mnoho let později.
Praktická část představuje přípravu na hodinu anglického jazyka v deváté třídě, ve které je v rámci tématu SPORT přiblížen žákům britský tým Lotus a sportovní terminologie používaná ve spojení se závody Formule 1. Příprava byla umístěna na Metodický portál RVP.CZ jako praktická ukázka zapojení průřezového tématu Multikulturní výchova do hodin anglického jazyka. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The thesis focuses on the history of Team Lotus, an undisputable part of the history of prestigious motorsport phenomenon - Formula 1. The thesis contains information about the team´s origin, its progress to its greatest achievements and its most notable drivers, just like the later decline in competitiveness and the eventual departure from the sport. Finally, it describes the more recent return of Lotus to F1.
The practical part of the thesis provides a preparation of a lesson of English language for the ninth grade of an elementary school. It introduces the Team Lotus and the F1 terminology to the children within the topic SPORT. The lesson was uploaded to the methodical website RVP.CZ, where it serves as an example how to involve multicultural education in the lessons of English. | eng |
