| dc.description.abstract | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou asortativního chování u živorodek Endlerových (Poecilia wingei). Cíle práce zahrnují popis charakterových vlastností ryb a charakteristiku dědivosti těchto vlastností. V praktické části je cílem práce sestavit chovné páry ryb Poecilia wingei, určit jejich vlastnosti (odvážnost - "bold" nebo bázlivost - "shy" ) a to jak u rodičovské generace, tak u generace potomků, a na základě tohoto porovnání určit dědivost daných vlastností.
Osobnostní rysy byly stanoveny pomocí takzvaného Open-field testu (test otevřeného prostoru) u odchovaných padesáti párů generace rodičů, posléze byly stejným postupem osobnostní rysy stanoveny také u generace potomků. Pomocí tzv. intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), byla stanovena část z celkové fenotypové variance, která je podmíněna variabilitou genetické informace v populaci. Statistické zpracování výsledků proběhlo v programu Statistica 12. Nakonec byla provedena analýza dědivosti osobnostních rysů a porovnání generací. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The thesis deals with assortative behaviour of Poecilia wingei. The aims of the thesis are to describe character traits of fish and their heritability, then set breeding pairs of Endler's Livebearer (Poecilia wingei) and to determine their traits (shy or bold). After that, the offspring generation of such pairs was bred and their personal traits were determined too. Finally a comparison of the parents and the offspring generation was carried out and the heritability was analyzed.
The traits were analyzed using the Open Field test. Fifty pairs of the parent generation were measured, coupled into pairs according to their traits. After that the offspring generation was measured too. The intraclass correlation coefficient was calculated, determining the share of the total phenotypic variance that is conditioned by the variability of genetic information in the population. The results were analysed using Statistica 12. The comparisons of the results revealed the heritability of the traits. | eng |
