| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce je věnována problematice smrti domácích zvířat z pohledu předškolních dětí a jejich rodičů. Teoretická část je zaměřena na význam zvířat v životě dětí, stručně představuje vývoj porozumění smrti u dětí a specifikám jejich truchlení. Na závěr jsou uvedeny možnosti, jak jim můžeme pomoci překonat zármutek po zemřelém zvířeti.
Cílem praktické části je zmapování zkušeností a postojů rodičů a jejich dětí s problematikou smrti domácích zvířat. V rámci kvalitativního výzkumu byly použity polostrukturované hloubkové rozhovory s šesti rodiči a jejich dětmi. Tyto rozhovory se týkaly především reakce dětí na smrt domácího zvířete, postoje rodičů ke smrti a následné interpretaci dítěti. Ukázalo se, že pro samotné rodiče je velmi složité dětem téma smrti vysvětlit. Neměli by se bát s dětmi mluvit, odpovědět na jejich otázky a hlavně jim svým životem a příkladem ukázat, jak si poradit s náročnou životní situací. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The bachelor thesis is devoted to the issue of death of domestic animals from the perspective of preschool children and their parents. The theoretical part focuses on the importance of animals in the lives of children, briefly presents the development of how children understand death and the specifics of their mourning. Finally, there are stated ways how we can help them overcome the grief of when their animal dies.
The aim of the practical part is to map out the experiences and attitudes of parents and their children with the issue of death of domestic animals. Within the qualitative research, semi-structured in-depth interviews with six parents and their children were used. These interviews mainly concerned the children's reaction to the death of a pet, the parents' attitude to death and the way children interpret the death of their pet. It turned out that it is very difficult for the parents to explain the topic of death to the children. Parents shouldn't be afraid to talk to children, answer their questions and, above all, show them by example how to cope with difficult life situations. | eng |
