| dc.description.abstract | Bakalářská práce se zabývá WebQuesty a jejich využitím ve výuce anglického jazyka. Teoretická část práce definuje pojem WebQuest, popisuje jejich vznik, kritéria pro tvorbu, jejich doporučenou strukturu a také druhy WebQuestů. Konkrétněji také popisuje, jak WebQuesty napomáhají rozvíjet jazykové dovednosti v oblastech komunikace, čtení, psaní a poslechu.
Praktická část této bakalářské práce obsahuje čtyři vytvořené WebQuesty vhodné pro žáky 8. a 9. tříd základních škol ve výuce anglického jazyka. WebQuesty jsou zpracovány ve vhodné formě pro výuku, jelikož obsahují instrukce pro žáky i základní pokyny pro učitele společně s vytvořenými kritérii hodnocení. WebQuesty jsou vytvořené ve čtyřech různých softwarových aplikacích a všechny jsou v anglickém jazyce.
Témata vytvořených WebQuestů vycházejí z běžných životních situací, se kterými se žáci mohou setkat, což zvyšuje jejich motivaci k učení. Důležitým prvkem těchto WebQuestů je mezipředmětové propojení a rozvoj jazykových a jiných dovedností, které lze využít v reálném životě. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The bachelor thesis deals with WebQuests and their use in English language teaching. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of a WebQuest and describes its origin, criteria for its creation, their recommended structure, and types of WebQuests. More specifically, it also describes how WebQuests help to develop language skills in the areas of communication, reading, writing, and listening.
The practical part of this bachelor thesis includes four English WebQuests designed for the 8th and 9th grade students of elementary school. The WebQuests are in a suitable form for teaching as they contain instructions for the students and basic instructions for the teachers along with the assessment criteria. WebQuests are created in four different software applications and all of them are in English. To check the appropriateness of the
language level of these WebQuests, I cooperated with my sister, who is the age of the target group of students.
The topics of the created WebQuests are based on common life situations that the students may encounter, which increases their motivation to learn.
