| dc.description.abstract | Hlavním tématem bakalářské práce jsou zkratky a značky ve zdravotnictví a zdravotnické dokumentaci. Teoretická část specifikuje pojem zkratky, zkratková slova a zaměří se na jejich klasifikaci a některá pravidla v psaní a jejich výslovnosti. Zmapuje i jak na zkratky nahlíží česká a anglická lingvistická tradice. Analytická část bude zkoumat zkratky, které se vyskytují v současném zdravotnictví. Jejich český a anglický význam s jejich rozřazením podle toho, do které sféry jednotlivé zkratky spadají. V poslední řadě zde bude porovnání bezpečnostních značek, které se vyskytují ve zdravotnickém prostředí. Srovnání bude provedeno mezi Českou Republikou a třemi anglicky mluvícími zeměmi, kterými jsou Amerika, Austrálie a Británie. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The main topic of the bachelor thesis is abbreviations and safety signs in health care and medical documentation. The theoretical part will define the concept of abbreviations and acronyms and focus on their classification and some rules in the writing and their pronunciation. It will also map out how the Czech and English linguistic traditions view abbreviations. The analytical part will examine the abbreviations that occur in contemporary healthcare. Their Czech and English meanings with their division according to which sphere the individual abbreviations fall into. Finally, there will be a comparison of safety signs that occur in the healthcare environment.
