| dc.description.abstract | Tématem práce je interpretace některých klíčových výrazových prostředků britské progresivní rockové hudby, a to od období jejího rozkvětu na přelomu šedesátých a sedmdesátých let přes období hledání a experimentací v polovině let sedmdesátých až po nástup punku a změnu uspořádání estetických norem rockové i šíře populární hudby vůbec. Práce se zabývá primárně způsoby, jak britská progresivní rocková scéna komunikovala s publikem, tedy rozborem obsahových složek, jako jsou témata kompozic a s tím související grafická a vizuální prezentace klíčových hudebních děl té doby. Práce se snaží vysledovat a popsat souvislosti mezi jednotlivými výrazovými prostředky progresivního rocku britské hudební scény, tedy prostředky literárními, hudebními a vizuálními, včetně inovativních způsobů komunikace s publikem formou koncertů a divadelních prvků prezentace. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The topic of the thesis is the interpretation of some key means of expression of British progressive rock music, from its heyday at the turn of the sixties and seventies through the period of search and experimentation in the mid-seventies to the onset of punk and the change in the arrangement of the aesthetic standards of rock and the breadth of popular music in general. The work primarily deals with the ways in which the British progressive rock scene communicated with the public, i.e. the analysis of content components such as the themes of the compositions and the related graphic and visual presentation of the key musical works of the time. The work tries to trace and describe the connections between the individual expressive means of progressive rock in the British music scene, i.e. literary, musical and visual means, including innovative ways of communicating with the audience in the form of concerts and theatrical elements of the presentation. | eng |
