| dc.description.abstract | Cílem práce je zjistit možnou souvislost mezi volbou studijní specializace v oblasti psychologie a osobnostními rysy studentů, respektive mírou přítomnosti typických rysů temné triády. Práce zpřehledňuje téma temné triády a její jednotlivé aspekty - narcismus, machiavelismus a psychopatii. Navíc se věnuje etice pomáhajících profesí se zaměřením na obor psychologie. Výzkum porovnává studenty jednooborové psychologie oproti studentům jiných studijních programů pomocí kvantitativní komparativní strategie s použitím dotazníkového šetření a škály Krátká temná triáda. Data byla získána od 1342 respondentů z celkem 5 fakult Jihočeské univerzity v Českých Budějovicích. Výsledky výzkumu odhalily, že mezi studenty psychologie a studenty jiných oborů nejsou významné rozdíly. Signifikantní rozdíly byly ovšem shledány mezi studenty z ekonomické, zemědělské a technologické, pedagogické, zdravotně sociální a přírodovědecké fakulty. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of the study is to investigate the possible relationship between the choice of study specialization in psychology and the personality traits of students, specifically the degree of presence of typical traits of the dark triad. The thesis clarifies the topic of the dark triad and its different aspects - narcissism, machiavellianism and psychopathy. In addition, it discusses the ethics of the helping professions with a focus on the field of psychology. The research compares students in single-subject psychology versus students in other degree programs by a quantitative comparative strategy which involves a questionnaire survey and the Short Dark Triad scale. Data were collected from 1342 respondents from a total of 5 faculties of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The results revealed that there were no significant differences between psychology students and students of other disciplines. However, significant differences were found between students from the faculties of economics, agriculture and technology, education, health and social sciencies and faculty of science. | eng |
