| dc.description.abstract | Účelem diplomové práce je pokusit se přispět k výzkumu dodnes téměř opomíjené problematiky života Židů před jejich nuceným transportem z domovů, a to na základě ilegálního časopisu, který vydávala židovská mládež.
Práce se dělí do osmi kapitol. První kapitola naznačuje, jaké bylo postavení Židů za první republiky. Druhá kapitola se věnuje situaci v období tzv. druhé republiky. Následující kapitola je pojednáním o židovském osídlení Českých Budějovic od jeho počátků až do roku 1938. Ve čtvrté kapitole jsem sledovala změny, se kterými se museli Židé potýkat v prvních třech letech Protektorátu Čechy a Morava. Pozornost jsem věnovala diskriminačním opatřením, emigraci, transportům i situaci v jihočeské metropoli. Jádrem práce je kapitola pátá. Ukazuje, jak trávili, zejména mladí, Židé své dny. Zabývala jsem se jejich volným časem, školou, i pracovním nasazením, jejich vztahy uvnitř i vně komunity, náboženstvím i otázkami ekonomickými, tím, jaký byl jejich názor na emigraci a sionismus a co pro ně znamenalo být Židem. Šestá kapitola čerpá zejména z deníku Edity Steinové a postihuje období prudce se zhoršujících životních podmínek. Nucenému odchodu Židů z Českých Budějovic je věnována sedmá kapitola. Kapitola poslední obsahuje tragickou poválečnou bilanci a popisuje postupné mizení židovského obyvatelstva z ulic města. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The purpose of my thesis is to try to contribute to the previously unrecognized research of life of the Jews before their forced leave from their homes, based on the illegal newspaper issued by jewish youth.
This thesis is divided into eight chapters. The first one indicates the situation of the Jews within the existence of the first republic. The second chapter devotes the situation during the period so called the second republic. The next chapter is a tract on the jewish settlement of České Budějovice from it´s very first days till year 1938. In the fourth chapter I observed the changes, against them the Jews had to fight during the first three years of the Protektorat Böhmen und Mähren. I payed attention on the discriminating provisions, emigration, transports as well as the situation in the city of the South Bohemia. The substance of the thesis creates the fifth chapter. It shows, how, especially the young, Jews spent their days. I occupied myself with their free time, school and forced labour, their relations inside as well as outside of the community, religion, economical questions, their view of emigration and sionism and the problem, what did it mean for them to be Jew. The sixth chapter gathers mainly from the diary of Edita Steinová and shows the period in which the life conditions were deteriorated very fast. To the forced leave from České Budějovice is devoted the seventh chapter. The last chapter contains the tragical afterwar balance and describes the gradual casualty of the jewish inhabitants in the streets of the city. | eng |
