| dc.description.abstract | Předkládaná práce se zabývá měšťanským pohřebním ritem a pohřební výbavou v období 16.?18. století. K tomuto účelu byly využity výzkumy z pohřebiště u kostela sv. Mikuláše v Českých Budějovicích z let 1971, 2001 a 2005, při kterých bylo nalezeno velké množství artefaktů pocházejících z hrobů. Záměrem je popsat pohřební ritus a pohřební výbavu mrtvých na tomto pohřebišti na základě archeologických, historických, etnografických a také antropologických pramenů. Velká pozornost je věnována především devocionáliím, které představovaly předměty, jež provázely mrtvé na tomto i onom světě. Devocionálie jsou dnes nacházeny na mnohých pohřebištích v České republice i v Evropě. Vzhledem k pohřebišti u kostela sv. Mikuláše v Českých Budějovicích je práce zaměřena hlavně na jižní Čechy v 16.?18. století, avšak pro komplexnější pohled na tuto problematiku mnohdy přesáhla územní i časovou hranici. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | Submitted work is dealing with burgher burial rite and burial equipment during the 16th ? 18th centuries. The research of a graveyard near the St. Nicholas Church in České Budějovice from 1971, 2001 and 2005 was used for this purpose. There were many artefacts coming from the graves. The aim of my thesis is to describe the burial rite and the burial equipment of the dead from this burial place on the basis of archeological, historical, ethnographical and anthropological sources. Big attention is paid to devotional articles that represented things which went along with the dead in this world and in the other world. The devotional articles can be found today on many burial places in the Czech Republic and in Europe as well. In relation with these findings, indentification and age determination were done. Because the burial place at the St. Nicholas Church is located in České Budějovice, the thesis is focused on Southern Bohemia during the 16th ? 18th centuries, although it stretched beyond the borders of the given area and time to give a more complex point of view. | eng |
