| dc.description.abstract | Smyslem této práce je popsání vývoje hospodářského života na předem vymezeném
regionu bývalého jihočeského politického okresu Kaplice v první polovině 20. století.
Oblast tohoto území byla rozdílná, než jak je tomu dnes. Tento okres byl tvořen třemi
soudními okresy, které byly Kaplice, Vyšší Brod a Nové Hrady, které se musí nejdříve
správně geograficky uchopit. Největší důraz práce je kladen na elektrifikaci tohoto
okresu se zaměřením jakým způsobem zde probíhala. V této práci je také kladen důraz
na to, jakým způsobem se místní obyvatelstvo snažilo elektřinu přijmout, či odmítnout.
Jelikož se jednalo o kraj velice chudý, po stránce průmyslové, setkáváme se zde
s problémem depopulace tohoto kraje. S touto problematikou se zde také zabýváme.
Dále se zde zaobíráme dalšími jinými hospodářskými činnostmi, díky kterým se lidé
v této oblasti, minimálního zájmu investorů, dokázali uživit a mohli se kulturně dále

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The purpose of this paper is to describe the development of the economic life of the predefined region of the former South Bohemian political district Kaplice in the first half of the 20th century. The area of this territory was different than it is today. This district was formed by three judicial districts, which were Kaplice, Vyšší Brod and Nové Hrady, which must first be properly geographically grasp. The greatest emphasis is placed on the work of
electrification of the district focused way, took place. In this work, emphasis is also placed on the way the local people tried to accept or reject electricity.
