| dc.description.abstract | Cílem bakalářské práce bylo posoudit chov plemene duroc v České republice. Práce byla zaměřena na vývoj a změny v této populaci od roku 2000 do roku 2013. Dále byla zaměřena na vývoj reprodukční užitkovosti a vývoj produkčních znaků na základě zkoušek vlastní užitkovosti.
V práci je uveden vznik plemene duroc, jeho charakteristika, plemenný standart a chovný cíl. Dále je zde zpracován vývoj početních stavů, počtu vrhů, počtu narozených selat, počtu dochovaných selat v 21 dnech, délka mezidobí a ztráty selat v kontrole užitkovosti. V rámci zkoušek vlastní užitkovosti je zde zpracován vývoj průměrných denních přírůstků, podílu libového masa a výška tuku u prasniček a kanečků. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the breeding of the Duroc breed in the Czech Republic. The thesis was focused on the development and changes in this population from 2000 to 2013. The thesis was also focused on reproductive performance and development of production traits based on the tests for individual performance.
The work includes the formation of the Duroc breed, its characteristics, breeding standard and breeding objective. There is also handled the number of inmates, the number of farrows and of piglets born, the number of surviving piglets in 21 days, farrow weight, the length of the interim and loss of piglets in the performance tests. In the tests for individual performance here is handled the development of the average daily gain, lean meat and fat number with gilts and male pigs. | eng |
