| dc.description.abstract | Stárnutí populace se stává celosvětovým problémem jednadvacátého století. Ve stáří dochází ke změnám ve fyzické, psychické i sociální sféře. Představa úspěšného stárnutí je zaměřena především na zlepšování kvality života a adaptaci ve stáří. Značný důraz je kladen na udržení aktivity lidí ve vysokém věku. Využití volného času má velký vliv na psychiku i fyzickou kondici seniora. Tuto dobu mohou senioři využívat různým způsobem, ať již vlastní činností nebo využíváním volnočasových aktivit nabízených v domovech pro seniory. Od ledna roku 2007 je v platnosti zákon o sociálních službách, který upravuje především celkové pojetí a podmínky poskytování sociálních služeb. Změny vyplývající ze zákona se mimo jiné týkají i domovů pro seniory, jejich uživatelů i poskytovatelů.
V teoretické části jsem se zaměřila na problematiku související se stárnutím a stářím, dále na volný čas seniorů a jejich aktivity a také jsem se snažila nastínit problematiku související se zákonem o sociálních službách.
Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, zda změny v rámci nové legislativy ovlivnily volnočasové aktivity v domovech pro seniory. K tomuto cíly byla stanovena hypotéza, že změny v legislativě (zákon č. 108/2006 Sb.) neovlivnily trávení volného časů seniorů v domovech pro seniory. Ke zpracování praktické části práce byl použit kvantitativní výzkum - metoda dotazování, technika řízeného rozhovoru se seniory ve vybraných domovech pro seniory a dále byla jako pomocná metoda použita analýza dokumentů, technika sekundární analýza dat. Podmínkou pro řízené rozhovory bylo, aby senioři byli klienty daného domova, měli zachovány kognitivní funkce a byli ochotni odpovídat. Rozhovory byly anonymní a obsahovaly 21 otázek. Z výzkumu jsem zjistila, že respondenti po zavedení zákona o sociálních službách nepociťují změnu v trávení volného času ani v poskytování volnočasových aktivit nabízených v domovech pro seniory. Domnívám se, že hypotéza byla výzkumem potvrzena.
Dle mého názoru by mohla být bakalářská práce využita k informovanosti veřejnosti o způsobu trávení volného času seniorů v domovech pro seniory. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | Ageing population becomes a world-wide problem of the 21st century. The old age represents changes in physical, psychical and social sphere. The image of ''successful'' ageing is based mainly on the improvement of life quality and adaptation to old age. Special attention is paid to keeping an active lifestyle, even at an old age. The way of spending free time significantly affects both the mental and the physical state of the seniors. Leisure time of the seniors can be filled up with their private activities or with the activities offered in the homes for seniors. The new Act on Social Services, effective since January 2007, regulates mainly the overall conception and conditions for providing social services. Among other affected subjects, the changes stated in the Act also apply to the homes for seniors, their users and providers.
The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the problems related to ageing and old age, with special focus on seniors´ free time and their leisure activities. I attempted to tackle the problems from the point of view of the Act on Social Services.
The research aim was to find out if the changes related to new legislation influenced leisure activities in the homes for seniors. Reaching this aim was facilitated by the hypothesis saying that the legislation changes (Act no. 108/2006 of the Law Code) did not influence the way of spending free time among the clients in the homes for seniors. To elaborate the practical part I applied quantitative survey based on the technique of controlled interviews with seniors in chosen homes for seniors. As an auxiliary method I applied document analysis, namely the technique of the secondary analysis of data. Controlled interviews were conditioned by the fact that the seniors were clients of the given home, their cognitive functions were not impaired and they were willing to provide the answers. The interviews were anonymous and contained 21 questions each. The research showed that the respondents did not mention any obvious changes in spending their free time which could be related to new legislation, and similarly they did not observe changes in leisure activities provided by the home for seniors. I assume that the initial hypothesis was proved by the research.
In my opinion the bachelor thesis could provide the broad public with information on the ways of spending leisure time among the clients in the homes for seniors. | eng |
