| dc.description.abstract | Tématem této bakalářské práce byla motivace studentů ke studiu oboru Ochrana veřejného zdraví, která má poskytnout studentům vzdělání zaměřené na problematiku ochrany a podpory zdraví obyvatel nebo jejich skupin a též na vytváření a udržení zdravých přírodních, životních a pracovních podmínek.
Hlavním cílem bylo stanovit celkovou škálu a úroveň motivací ze strany zájemců o studium oboru Ochrana veřejného zdraví a porovnat ji s jejich naplňováním v průběhu studia. Posléze pak výsledky výzkumu interpretovat v kontextu s reálnými zájmy a možnostmi uplatnění studentů v praxi.
Pro sběr dat jsem zvolila výzkumnou techniku dotazníkového šetření. Osloveno bylo všech 70 současných studentů 1., 2. a 3. ročníku bakalářského studia Zdravotně sociální fakulty Jihočeské univerzity v Českých Budějovicích oboru Ochrana veřejného zdraví. Výsledný výzkumný soubor, se kterým jsem pracovala, byl tvořen 61 respondentem. Návratnost činila 87,1 %.
První hypotéza zněla: Motivace k volbě studia oboru Ochrana veřejného zdraví je ze strany zájemců ve většině spojována s předběžnou znalostí významu a poslání oboru. Tato byla spolupracujícími respondenty potvrzena. Byla potvrzena také druhá hypotéza: Úroveň motivace studujících obor Ochrany veřejného zdraví je v průběhu vlastního studia v rozhodující míře vázána na reálné možnosti profesního uplatnění v praxi. Studenti 3. ročníku, kteří mají již větší praktické zkušenosti, jsou mnohem více skeptičtí v možnosti nalézt praktické uplatnění v oblasti ochrany veřejného zdraví. Přesto většina respondentů odpověděla ano (26,2 %) a spíše ano (55,8 %) na otázku, zda si myslí,že by je profese v tomto oboru uspokojovala. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The topic of this diploma paper is student motivation to study the discipline of ''Public Health Protection“ that should provide students with education focused on the various aspects of protecting and supporting the health of citizens, or their groups, and on creating and maintaining healthy natural, living and working conditions.
The primary objective was to specify the total range and level of motivations of those interested in studying the discipline of ''Protection of Public Health“ and compare them with their fulfilment in the course of studies. Later, the results should be interpreted in the context of the students’ actual interests and chances to get a job.
Data were collected using the research method of a questionnaire survey. All of the seventy current students of ''Public Health Protection“, 1st, 2nd a 3rd years, at the Faculty of Health and Social Studies of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The resulting research set I used consisted of 61 respondents. The returnability was 87.1 %.
The first hypothesis was: Motivation to study the discipline of ''Public Health Protection“ is, for most of those interested, related with previous awareness of the importance and mission of the discipline. This hypothesis was confirmed by the cooperating respondents. The second hypothesis was: The motivation level of those studying the discipline of Public Health Protection is linked significantly, in the course of the studies, to the real chances of finding a job in the studied field. This hypothesis was also confirmed. The 3rd year students, who have more practical experience, are much more sceptical towards their chances of getting a job in the field of public health protection. In spite of that, most of the respondents replied ''yes“ (26.2 %) and ''more likely yes“ (55.8 %) to the question whether they think that a job in this field would satisfy them. | eng |
