| dc.description.abstract | Anotace
Název mé bakalářské práce je ''Úloha sestry v prevenci onemocnění prostaty'', cílem práce je zjistit jakou roli hraje sestra ve včasné diagnostice nádorového onemocnění prostaty.
Významnou úlohu v oblasti prevence hraje sestra, která si může povšimnout příznaků, jež jsou prvním projevem nádorového onemocnění. Sestra je také schopná vhodně a přístupnou formou poskytnout pacientovi potřebné informace o rizikových faktorech vzniku nádoru.
V této práci byla použita metoda kvantitativního šetření formou dotazníku pro pacienty a kvalitativního šetření formou rozhovoru se sestrami. Šetření bylo provedeno u sester pracujících v ordinacích praktických lékařů a u pacientů těchto ordinací, v Jindřichově Hradci. Šetření bylo anonymního charakteru. Po sběru dat byl vyhotoven závěr podle stanovených hypotéz a výzkumných otázek.
Po vyhodnocení výsledků výzkum ukázal, zda se zvolené hypotézy potvrdily či ne. A také nám dal odpovědi na výzkumné otázky. Hypotéza 1: Sestry využívají obecné zásady edukace se částečně potvrdila. Hypotéza 2: Muži mají nedostatek informací, které se týkají včasné diagnostiky onemocnění prostaty, se nepotvrdila. Hypotéza 3: Mladší muži mají méně informací než starší muži, se potvrdila.
Na výzkumnou otázku: Jakým způsobem sestry provádějí edukaci? Odpověď zněla, pomocí informačních brožur, verbálně a pomocí internetu. Jaké nejčastější problémy vidí sestra v edukaci pacientů při onemocnění prostaty? Nejčastěji se jedná o ostych pacientů, intimitu problému.
Sestra má významnou roli v prevenci, proto je důležité, aby ona sama měla dostatek informací o této problematice. Výsledky šetření pomohly zjistit hloubku znalostí a poskytly materiály k edukaci. | cze |

The title of the present bachelor’s thesis is: ''The role of the nurse in prevention against prostate disorder“, and its objective is to identify the role of the nurse in early diagnostics of prostate disorder.
Nurses have a critical role in prevention. They can notice the signs that are the first symptoms that might develop into a prostate tumor. The nurse is able to provide a patient with necessary information about the risk factors related to tumor occurrence.
The thesis used data collected in a quantitative research using the method of questionnaire for patients and in a qualitative research using the method of interviews carried out with nurses. The research included nurses working for General Practitioners in their offices and also patients observed by these doctors in Jindřichův Hradec. The survey was anonymous. After the data had been collected, the outcomes related to given hypotheses and research questions were received.
Evaluation of the outcomes received from the survey showed whether the hypotheses were correct or not. It also provided answers to the research questions. Hypothesis 1: Nurses use general principles of education. The hypothesis has been partially confirmed. Hypothesis 2: Men have insufficient supply of information related to early diagnostics of prostate disorders. The hypothesis has not been confirmed. Hypothesis 3: Younger men have less information than older ones. This has been confirmed.
The answer to the research question ''How do nurses provide education?“ is: They use information brochures, oral instructions, and provide Internet links. What are the most frequent problems in education of the patients suffering from prostate disorders according to the nurses? It is most often patients’ shyness and intimacy of the problem.
The nurse plays a significant role in prevention therefore it is crucial for her to have sufficient amount of information about the problem. The outcome of the survey identified the level of such knowledge and it provided new material for education. | eng |
