| dc.description.abstract | Apalický syndrom neboli stav bdělého bezvědomí je zvláštním typem poruchy vědomí, jehož základním rysem je bdělost s otevřenýma očima. Specifická ošetřovatelská péče u apalického pacienta je jednou z nejnáročnějších, neboť pacient je na této péči zcela závislý. Proto potřebujeme, aby sestry pracující s apalickými pacienty byly na poskytování ošetřovatelské péče těmto pacientům co nejlépe připraveny.
Diplomová práce posuzuje a hodnotí znalosti budoucích sester o apalickém syndromu a specifické ošetřovatelské péči, která je pacientům s tímto syndromem poskytována. Zároveň tyto znalosti porovnává se znalostmi sester, které pacientům již tuto ošetřovatelskou péči poskytují a hledá na základě zkušeností těchto sester možnosti jejich prohloubení. V této části je použito kvantitativní výzkumné šetření, metoda dotazování, technika anonymního dotazníku. Dále práce vyhodnocuje, zpracovává a odhaluje faktory, které mohou přímo ovlivňovat připravenost budoucích sester, i sester na poskytování specifické ošetřovatelské péče apalickým pacientům. Sestry samy navrhují jejich řešení. Tato část byla zpracována výzkumným šetřením kvalitativním, metodou dotazování, technikou polostandardizovaného rozhovoru.
Apalický syndrom je jedním ze stále aktuálních a diskutovaných témat. Problematika pacientů s tímto syndromem je závažná, neboť s sebou nese nejen medicínský, ale i etický a ekonomický problém. Z výsledků šetření je patrna nižší míra znalostí budoucích sester o apalickém syndromu a specifikách ošetřovatelské péče. To částečně vypovídá o jejich připravenosti. Měli bychom jim tedy vytvořit takové podmínky při studiu, aby své znalosti mohly prohlubovat a zároveň využívat přímo u apalických pacientů samotných. Zde má své opodstatněné místo odborná praxe realizovaná během studia. Tímto pomůžeme usnadnit jejich nástup na jednotky, které apalickým pacientům specifickou ošetřovatelskou péči poskytují, a eliminovat faktory, které mohou nástup, ale i kvalitu péče samotné do značné míry ovlivnit. Snahou této diplomové práce bylo poukázat na problematiku poskytování specifické ošetřovatelské péče u apalických pacientů nejen z pohledu budoucích sester. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | Apalic syndrome or waking state of unconsciousness is a special type
of consciousness disturbance, the essential feature of which is wakefulness with
open eyes. Specific nursing care of a patient with apalic syndrome is the most
challenging because the patient is completely dependent on this care. Therefore, it
is necessary for nurses working with apalic patients to be prepared to provide
nursing care to these patients as well as possible
Diploma thesis assesses and evaluates the knowledge of future nurses
on the apalic syndrome and the specific nursing care, which patients with apalic
syndrome are provided with. This knowledge is compared with the knowledge of
nurses who have already been providing nursing care to these patients and, based
on the experience of those nurses, the ways how to improve the knowledge are
surveyed. Quantitative research, an interrogation method, anonymous
questionnaire technique was used in this section. In the thesis the factors are
assessed that may directly affect the preparedness of future nurses and nurses
already working to provide specific nursing care to patients with apalic syndrome.
Nurses themselves suggest solutions. In this section the qualitative research
survey, the questioning method, and the half standardized interview technique
were involved.
Apalic syndrome is one of topical and discussed issues. It is difficult
to tackle this serious problem, it involves not only medical but also ethical and
economic aspects. From the outcomes of the survey a lower level of knowledge
of future nurses on apalic syndrome and specifics of nursing care is apparent.
This partly reflects their preparedness. Conditions should be created for future
nurses so that they could deepen their knowledge through study and employ this
knowledge directly to apalic patients. Nursing practice carried out during study
may also come in useful. It can help facilitate nurses´ work in units where nursing
care is provided to apalic patients and eliminate factors that may affect the quality
of care. The objective of this thesis was to point out to the issue of providing a
specific nursing care of apalic patients not only from the perspective of future
