| dc.description.abstract | Pro tuto bakalářskou práci bylo zvoleno téma Život seniorů pohledem mladé generace. V teoretické části jsem se snažila nastínit život starých lidí společně s jejich potřebami, a také život dnešní mladé generace. Mladou generaci jsem rozdělila na dvě věkové skupiny a to na osoby ve věku adolescence a osoby ve věku časné dospělosti. Poznatky z teoretické části jsem následně aplikovala v praktické části bakalářské práce. Informace od respondentů jsem sbírala pomocí řízených rozhovorů s otevřenými otázkami. Zvolila jsem 17 respondentů, kteří odpovídají věkové kategorii mladých lidí a bydlí na území Prahy. Stanovila jsem si dva cíle. Prvním cílem bylo zjistit pohled mladé generace na život seniorů a druhým cílem bylo zjistit, jaké hodnoty jsou podle mladých lidí pro seniory těmi nejdůležitějšími. K prvnímu cíli jsem došla několika připravenými otázkami pro respondenty. Odpovědi respondentů jsem porovnala s literaturou a ve většině případů se odpovědi respondentů s touto literaturou shodovaly. Z toho vyplývá, že se mladí lidé snaží vnímat seniory jako součást naší společnosti a ve většině případů na ně pohlíží stejně, jak se o nich píše v literatuře. Pokud nemají mladí lidé zájem se seniory přijít do užšího kontaktu a trávit s nimi delší dobu, snaží se je alespoň respektovat a nevyvolávat zbytečné dohady či konflikty. V mé bakalářské práci jsem došla také k druhému cíli. Nejdůležitějšími hodnotami pro seniory jsou podle mladých lidí zdraví, rodina, přátelé, víra a jistota. Tyto hodnoty vybrali respondenti díky svým zkušenostem se starými lidmi, anebo je vybírali podle toho, jak znají seniory z různých médií. V závěru bakalářské práce jsem uvedla některé možnosti, které by mohly přiblížit život seniorů mladé generaci. Proto tato bakalářská práce může sloužit jako materiál pro zlepšení mezigeneračních vztahů. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The topic ?Older people with the eyes of younger generation? was chosen for a purpose of my bachelor thesis. In the theoretical part, the life of old people with their needs as well as the one of today's young generation has been outlined. Two age groups were created among young generation - people in the age of adolescence and the people in the age of early adulthood. Results from the theoretical part have subsequently been applied in the practical part of the thesis. A method of structured interviews with open questions was applied for getting required information. 17 respondents were chosen for that purpose. They match criteria of the age group of young people and of residence in Prague. I set two goals. The first objective was to look at a life of seniors through young generation´s point of. The second objective was to determine which values were the most important to seniors according to young people. The first goal has been met via few questions to the respondents. Answers were compared with expert literature. The answers of the respondents concurred with this literature in most cases. It means firstly that young people perceive the elderly as part of our society and secondly young people have in general same view on seniors as the one represented in the expert literature. In case young people were not interested in coming into closer contact with senior and spend some time together, they tried at least to respect the older people and avoid causing unnecessary speculation and conflicts. Also the second goal was met in my bachelor thesis. According to young people, the most important values for the elderly are health, family, friends, faith and certainty. These values were selected by respondents based on their own experience with the seniors or according to how they know seniors through various media. At the end of the bachelor thesis I outlined some options that could bring the young generation of seniors living. So this bachelor thesis can serve as a material for improving intergenerational relationships. | eng |
