| dc.description.abstract | Význam komunikace se seniory bývá často opomíjen, abych na jeho význam upozornila, zvolila jsem si toto téma bakalářské práce. Komunikace je jednou z nejdůležitějších životních potřeb. Tím, že komunikujeme, se stáváme součástí společnosti. Mezilidská komunikace je přítomna u každého setkání dvou a více lidí. Nelze se obejít bez ní obejít a obzvlášť pomáhající profese by to měli mít na paměti. Je nepředstavitelné, aby péče o uživatele probíhala bez komunikace. V péči o uživatele si ošetřující personál nevystačí s běžnými dorozumívacími způsoby, které používá každý den. Je proto důležité, aby se naučili profesionálně komunikovat. Tím, že se seniorem hovoříme, ho můžeme informovat o právě probíhajících činnostech, ale také získávat informace, povzbudit ho, motivovat, atd. Kvalita poskytované péče se neprojevuje jenom používáním nejmodernější technologií a materiálů, ale také tím, jak zaměstnanci dokážou s uživateli komunikovat. Schopnost ošetřujícího personálu navázat kontakt, vést kvalifikovaně rozhovor a získat důvěru je v dnešní uspěchané době skoro vzácností. Komunikace je důležitou součástí života nás všech, doprovází nás už od narození a zvláště senioři potřebují mít možnost si s někým promluvit, sdělit mu své pocity.
Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku komunikace se seniory. Cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda má závislost na péči jiné osoby různého stupně vliv na způsob komunikace.
Teoretická část vymezuje pojmy jako komunikace a její druhy ? verbální, neverbální a paralingvistiku, stáří a senior, domov pro seniory a specifiku komunikace se seniorem. Praktická část se zabývá výzkumným šetřením. Výzkumný soubor tvořili zaměstnanci a senioři Domova pro seniory Milevsko. Technikou sběru dat bylo pozorování a rozhovory. Vše probíhalo se souhlasem vedení organizace. Rozhovory probíhali nezávisle na sobě a s různými zaměstnanci. Pozorování bylo prováděno skrytě u vybraných seniorů. V praktické části jsou zaznamenány důležité informace z rozhovorů se zaměstnanci a zjištěné informace z pozorování. Nejvýznamnější odpovědi na otázky jsou v textu uvedeny v autentickém znění a zvýrazněny kurzívou. Výsledky výzkumu v bakalářské práci informují o rozdílech v komunikaci se seniory. Bylo zjištěno, že dochází k infantilizaci seniorů, používaný způsob komunikace, bývá podobný hovorům s malými dětmi, při péči o špatně hovořící uživatele se personál baví o seniorovi jako o třetí osobě, nevěnují potřebnou pozornost sladění svých verbálních a neverbálních projevů. Často dochází ke stigmatizaci uživatelů ? skupinu seniorů zařazuje do určitých skupin. Bakalářská práce může být využita pro zlepšení komunikace mezi personálem a uživateli domova pro seniory. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | An importance of the communication with seniors is often neglected. I chose this topic for my bachelor thesis to draw an attention to its importance. The communication is one of the most important life necessities. By communicating we become a part of a society. An interpersonal communication is present at each meeting of two or more people. It is impossible to get by it and especially helping professions should have it in mind. It is inconceivable that the care could take place without any communication. Taking care of a user, the nursing staff cannot do with common communication ways they use every day. That is why it is necessary for them to learn how to communicate professionally. By talking with a senior, we can inform him/her about just ongoing activities, but we can also obtain information, encourage and motivate him/her etc. The quality of the provided care does not manifest itself only by using the latest technologies and materials, but also by the ability, how the staff can communicate with users. The ability of the nursing staff to make a contact, to hold a conversation in a qualified way and to gain a confidence is almost a rarity in present hectic times. The communication is an important part of the life for all of us, it accompanies us already from the birth and especially the seniors need to have a possibility to speak with somebody, to tell him about his/her feelings.
The bachelor thesis has been focused on the issues of the communication with seniors. The aim of the thesis was to find out whether there are differences in the communication with seniors with various degrees of dependences on another person´s care.
The theoretical part defines concepts as a communication and its types ? verbal, nonverbal and paralinguistic, an old age and a senior, seniors´ home and specifics of the communication with the senior. The practical part deals with a research survey. The research sample consisted of the staff and seniors from the Seniors´ Home Milevsko. The data collection technique was an observation and interviews. Everything was carried out with an approval of the organization management. Interviews were conducted independently and with different employees. The observation was carried out secretly at chosen seniors.
In the practical part there are recorded important information from the interviews with the staff and the findings from the observation. The most significant answers to the questions are indicated in an authentic wording and highlighted in italics. Results of the research in the bachelor thesis inform about differences in the communication with the seniors. It was found out that it comes to an infantilization of seniors; the used method of the communication is similar to conversations with small children. The staff talks about the senior as about the third person during a care of a badly speaking user, they do not pay a necessary attention to harmonizing of their verbal and nonverbal expressions. It often leads to a stigmatization of the users ? they classify seniors into certain groups. The bachelor thesis can be used for improving the communication between the staff and users of the seniors´ home. | eng |
