| dc.description.abstract | Abstrakt:
Pro svou práci jsem si zvolila téma, které se zabývá péčí o nesoběstačné občany v seniorském věku. Téma je mi blízké z toho důvodu, že jsem se během svého života ocitla v situaci, kdy jsem pečovala o své blízké, vzhledem k jejich zdravotnímu stavu a snížené soběstačnosti. Načerpala jsem tak zkušenosti, které se společně se studovaným oborem staly důvodem ke zvolení tématu práce.
Práce obsahuje dvě základní části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretickou část jsem rozdělila do čtyř základních kapitol. V první kapitole popisuji současný stav seniorské populace, rovněž úlohu státu a postavení seniorů v naší společnosti.
Druhá kapitola navazuje na toto pojednání a zabývá se stárnutím a stářím.
Ve čtvrté kapitole se v teoretické rovině zabývám významem služeb sociální péče, konkrétně pečovatelské služby a osobní asistence, pro rodiny s nesoběstačným seniorem. Zejména se zaměřuji na to, jakou pomoc obě služby rodinám nabízejí.
Druhá část práce představovala kvalitativní výzkumné šetření, které mi pomohlo dokončit a naplnit cíl mé práce. Předmětem výzkumného šetření bylo zjistit, do jaké míry jsou tyto služby využívány a jaký mají význam pro rodiny s chronicky nemocným nebo jinak znevýhodněným seniorem. Účelem výzkumného šetření bylo získat reakce a odpovědi na výzkumnou otázku: ?Jaký je sociálně zdravotní význam pečovatelské služby a osobní asistence pro rodiny s nesoběstačným seniorem.? Výzkum byl zaměřen na osoby a rodiny, které se starají o své blízké a příbuzné v seniorském věku, kteří jsou částečně nebo úplně závislé na pomoci druhé osoby. Jednalo se právě o takové pečující rodinné příslušníky, které využívají pečovatelskou službu či osobní asistenci. Abych získala potřebné informace, zvolila jsem metodu individuálního rozhovoru, neboť tak jsem mohla účastníky výzkumu v diskusi nasměrovat k těm tématům, které mi pomohly objasnit cíle mé práce. Celé mé výzkumné šetření vyústilo ve shrnutí výsledků. Výsledky jsem zformulovala na základě zaznamenaných reakcí účastníků nejprve v obecné rovině a potom formou tabulek. Tyto získané poznatky se staly podkladem pro zformulování jasného zhodnocení celého výzkumného šetření. Zde byl také zhodnocen cíl práce odpověď na mou výzkumnou otázku.
Ve většině případů se hlavním významem pečovatelské služby a osobní asistence stalo to, že rodiny mohou zachovat více či méně životní standart nejen svůj, ale zejména pečované osoby. Kvalita života osoby o kterou pečují, je pro rodiny velmi důležitá, a proto se snaží s pomocí sociálních služeb poskytnout seniorům maximum v oblasti zdravotní i sociální. Význam obou uvedených sociálních služeb spočívá rovněž v tom, že nesoběstačný člen rodiny má možnost zůstat v přirozeném domácím prostředí uprostřed svých blízkých. Pečující osoby mají prostor k odpočinku a regeneraci a rovněž čas k vyřízení potřebných osobních a pracovních záležitostí. Sociální služby mohou usnadnit společný život nesoběstačnému seniorovi a celé jeho rodině. | cze |

I have chosen a subject matter which is focused on care for seniors who are not self-sufficient as a topic of my bachelor thesis. Due to the fact that I have looked after my relatives whose self-sufficiency was cut down for their health this topic is close to my heart. This gained experience together with the specialisation I have been studying became the main reason I have chosen such topic for my bachelor thesis.
This bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part was divided into four basic chapters. In the first chapter there are the present state of the population of seniors, the role of the state and a status of seniors in our society described.
The second chapter follows up and is focused on aging and an old age itself. The third chapter deals with social policy and a system of social services in our society.
The fourth chapter deals with the theoretical significance of social care services particularly care services and personal assistance for families with seniors who are not self-sufficient. In particular I have focused on what kind of help is provided to families by each of the two services.
The second part of the thesis is a qualitative research which helped to fulfill the objective of this thesis. The subject of the research was to determine the extent to which these services are being used and their relevance for families with chronically ill or differently disadvantaged seniors. The purpose of the survey was to obtain reactions and responses to the question: "What is the importance of social and health care services and personal assistance for families with seniors who are not self-sufficient." The research was focused on individuals and families who care for their loved ones and relatives of an old age who are partially or fully dependent on the assistance of another person. These were just caring family members who were using a day care or personal assistance. In order to obtain the necessary information I have chosen an individual interview method. Through this I could direct research participants in the debate to the subject matters that had helped to clarify goals of this thesis. The survey has resulted in to the summary of the results. The results were formulated on the basis of the recorded reactions of the respondents at first in general and then in the tables. The acquired knowledge became the basis for the formulation of a clear appreciation of the research.
There was also evaluated the objective of the thesis and given an answer to my research question. In most cases, the main significance of care services and personal assistance was found in the fact that families are more or less able to keep living standard not only of their own but mainly of a caring person. For a family it is usually very important, to keep a good quality of life to the caring person for this reason it tries with the help of social services to provide maximum in health and social area to seniors. The importance of these two social services also lies in the fact that a family member who is not self-sufficient has the option to stay in his natural home environment surrounded by his relatives. Caregivers have space to have a rest and to recover as well as some time needed to process personal and work matters. Social services can make shared lives of the elderly, who is not self-sufficient, and his entire family easier. | eng |
