| dc.description.abstract | Sluch je pro člověka nejcitlivějším smyslem. Společně se zrakem slouží jako prostředek komunikace a sociální interakce. U dětí, které mají vrozenou vadu sluchu, nedochází k vytvoření předpokladů pro rozvoj řeči. Naopak osoby trpící získanou vadou sluchovou až po rozvoji řeči, nácviku čtení a psaní, tak přijímají informace písemnou formou a také jsou schopni správné a srozumitelné odpovědi. Teoretická část práce se zabývá sluchovými vadami a jejich poruchami. Zmiňuje se o sluchově znevýhodněných dětech a o vzdělávání sester. Pro bakalářskou práci byly stanoveny dva cíle a to zjistit, zda jsou sestry pracující v nemocnici na dětském oddělení připraveny na péči o surdopedického pacienta a zjistit úroveň vybavenosti nemocnic pro péči o surdopedického pacienta. Výzkumná část práce byla zpracována formou kvalitativního šetření prováděného se sestrami na dětském oddělení, metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Rozhovor byl veden s deseti sestrami, ze třech různých nemocnic, dvě nemocnice byly z Jihočeského kraje a jedna ze Středočeského kraje. První část šetření se zabývala kvalifikačním vzděláváním, celoživotním vzděláváním a možnostmi vzdělávání sester v surdopedii. Dále nás zajímala zkušenost sester s hospitalizací sluchově znevýhodněných dětí na dětském oddělení. V další části šetření jsme se zaměřili na surdopedické pomůcky a moderní technologie, které by mohly zjednodušit péči o děti se sluchovým znevýhodněním. Zajímala nás také možnost spolupráce nemocnic se speciálními pedagogy. Poslední část výzkumného šetření je zaměřená na ošetřovatelskou péči o pacienta s poruchou sluchu. Z výsledků výzkumného šetření vyplynulo, že se děti s poruchou sluchu vyskytují na dětských odděleních, ale sestry se s nimi nejsou schopny dorozumět pomocí znakového jazyka. Na oddělení mají zkušenosti s hospitalizací těchto dětí, ale i přesto pro ně nemají surdopedické pomůcky, nejsou pro ně k dispozici ani moderní technologie. Sestry na dětských odděleních nejsou informované o možnostech využívání speciálních pedagogů. Nesetkaly se s dětmi používajícími naslouchátko, neznají kochleární implantáty, ale i přesto se domnívají, že jejich uživatelé nevyžadují specifickou péči. Tyto poznatky budou publikovány v odborném časopise pro sestry. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | Hearing is the most sensitive of all human senses. Together with sight, it serves as a means of communication and social interaction. Children with congenital hearing impairment lack the preconditions for development of speech. In this case, a long-term speech therapy is needed. The theoretical part of the thesis is concerned with hearing impairments. It mentions children with hearing impairments and also the education of nurses. I describe paediatric units and the work of nurses in these units. Two objectives were set for this bachelor's thesis: to find out whether nurses working in a hospital paediatric unit are ready to care for patients with hearing impairment and to examine how well the hospitals are equipped to care for these patients. The research part of the thesis was conducted as a qualitative research with nurses working in a paediatric unit in the form of a semi-structured interview. The interviews with nurses were then transcribed using verbatim transcription. Altogether, ten nurses working in three different hospitals were interviewed; two of these hospitals are located in the South Bohemian Region and one in the Central Bohemian Region. The first part of the research examined the qualification education, lifelong learning and education possibilities for nurses in the area of deaf education. We were also interested in the experience of nurses with the hospitalisation of children with hearing impairment in the paediatric unit. In the next part of the research, we examined the deaf education tools and modern technologies that could make care of children with hearing impairment easier. We were also interested in cooperation between the hospitals and special education teachers. In both hospitals in the South Bohemian Region, a teacher (not specialised in special education) is available in the unit, but the hospital in the Central Bohemian Region has not had any teachers in their unit for several years. So far, none of the nurses have experienced a special education teacher working in their unit. The last part of the research is aimed at nursing care of patients with hearing impairment. The nurses think that they are ready to provide nursing care or that they are expected to be. The research showed that there are occasionally children with hearing impairment in the paediatric units, but the nurses are not able to communicate with them using sign language. The paediatric units have experience with hospitalising these children, but in spite of that, they have no deaf education tools or modern technology available for them.
