| dc.description.abstract | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou paliativní péče ve vztahu ke studentům Zdravotně sociální fakulty Jihočeské university. Konkrétně ke studentům programu všeobecná sestra a ošetřovatelství. Úmyslně není v této práci blíţe rozebírána specializovaná paliativní péče, problematika hospiců a dalších specializovaných zařízení. Zde paliativní péče funguje dobře a bylo o ní napsáno mnohé. Většina studentů však vykonává odborné praxe z větší části na odděleních nemocnic, nebo jsou v nemocnicích zaměstnáni. Proto je práce věnována převáţně paliativní péči obecné, která by měla být součástí kaţdého zdravotnického zařízení. V České republice je totiţ nejčastějším místem úmrtí, podobně jako v jiných evropských zemích, z 60% akutní nemocnice a z 9% nemocnice dlouhodobé péče. Teoretická část práce se věnuje historii světové i české paliativní péče a jejímu vývoji do současnosti. Jsou zde stručně popsány obě úrovně paliativní péče, obecná a specializovaná, tak jak se dnes doporučuje s nimi pracovat. Dále se práce zmiňuje o kompetencích sestry v paliativní péči a o některých specifických potíţích a potřebách nevyléčitelně nemocných. Tyto potřeby jsou rozděleny na tělesné, psychické, sociální a spirituální, přesto, ţe se někdy úzce prolínají. Práce měla stanoveny dva cíle. Prvním cílem bylo zmapovat znalosti a povědomí studentů o paliativní péči a druhým cílem bylo zjistit, jaké mají studenti zkušenosti s paliativní péčí a jaké pocity u nich toto téma vyvolává. Ve výzkumné části byl pouţit kvantitativní výzkum. Technikou sběru dat byl anonymní dotazník. Respondenti odpovídali na 30 otázek. 12 otázek bylo uzavřených, 9 otázek otevřených a 9 polouzavřených. Osloveny byly studentky prvního aţ třetího ročníku bakalářského studia programu všeobecná sestra, oboru ošetřovatelství, prezenčního i kombinovaného studia a studentky magisterského programu ošetřovatelství, oboru ošetřovatelství ve vybraných klinických oborech, také obou forem studia v obou ročnících. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This bachelor thesis deals with the issues of palliative care in relation to students of the Faculty of Health and Social Studies, namely to students of the programme General Nurse and Nursing. The thesis intentionally does not detail specialized palliative care, the problems of hospices and further specialized facilities. Here the palliative care works well and a lot has been written about that. Nevertheless most of the students take their practical placements at hospital wards or are employed in hospitals. This is why the thesis mostly deals with general palliative care, which should be a part of every healthcare facility. Actually in the Czech Republic, like in other European countries, an acute hospital is the most frequent place of death (60%). In long-term care hospitals the percentage is 9%. The theoretical part deals with the world and Czech history of palliative care and its development up to these days. It briefly describes both the levels of palliative care, general and specialized, as they are recommended nowadays. The thesis also mentions competences of nurses in palliative care and some specific problems and needs of incurably ill patients. These needs are divided into physical, psychical, social and spiritual although they are sometimes strongly linked. The thesis had two goals. The first goal was to map the awareness of palliative care among students; the other goal was to find out what experience the students have with palliative care and what kind of feelings this topic evokes in them. Quantitative research was used in the research part, an anonymous questionnaire was chosen as the data collection technique. The respondents answered 30 questions. 12 questions were closed, 9 questions were open and 9 semi-closed. Students of the first to third years of the bachelor programme General Nurse, Nursing branch from full-time and combined courses, and students of master programme of Nursing, specialization Nursing in Selected Clinical Fields, also from both course types of both years were addressed. | eng |
