| dc.description.abstract | Předložená práce sleduje architektonické proměny sakrálních staveb v historii. Představuje základní stavební slohy a jejich uplatnění na chrámech a kostelích na území Evropy i Čech a na území Českých Budějovic. Blíže se práce zabývá provedenými přestavbami katedrály sv. Mikuláše v Českých Budějovicích. Porovnává a studuje dokumenty vzešlé z liturgické reformy 2. vatikánského koncilu vztahující se k liturgickému prostoru. Detailně mapuje průběh a výsledek stavebních úprav interiéru v letech 1969-1972.
Práce na základě sesbíraných podkladů z oblasti architektury, historie chrámu a liturgie zkoumá míru zdařilosti posledních stavebních úprav vzhledem k liturgickému využití daného prostoru, upozorňuje na její klady i zápory. Podrobuje kritice existující návrh opravy. Hledá moderní řešení uspořádání interiéru katedrály. Předkládá nový návrh, který by při splnění liturgických, stavebních a uměleckých požadavků mohl lépe vyhovovat dnešním pastoračním potřebám. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The dissertation follows the architectural transformation of religious buildings in the course of history. It lists the basic building styles and their application to temples and churches in Europe, Bohemia and České Budějovice. The focus is aimed at the redevelopment that has been carried out on the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in České Budějovice. A comparison and analysis is carried out of documents resulting from the liturgical reform of the Second Vatican Council, relating to the space of liturgy. A detailed map is presented of the course and the outcome of the reconstruction of the interior that took place between the years 1969 ? 1972.
With a research based on materials related to architecture, temple history and liturgy, the dissertation examines the level of success of the latest reconstruction, in relation to the liturgical use of the given space, pointing out both the positive and the negative aspects. The current restoration design is subject to critical analysis, while a modern solution for the layout of the cathedral interior is sought for. Finally, a new design is brought forward, which would fulfil the liturgical, construction and artistic requirements and at the same time better serve today?s pastoral needs. | eng |
