| dc.description.abstract | Cílem této bakalářské práce je seznámení čtenářů s operačním systémem Solaris, se společnostmi, které systém vyvíjely, a instalace systému spolu s podrobným popisem. V další části následuje seznámení s klíčovými vlastnostmi tohoto systému, jako je nový souborový systém ZFS, virtuální nadstavba Zones a porovnání jádra s jádrem linuxového systému.
