| dc.description.abstract | V mé diplomové práci jsem se věnovala obrazu šlechty v tisku devatenáctého století. Tisk byl nejdůležitějším médiem, jehož prostřednictvím byla společnost ovlivňována a formována.
Rozhodla jsem se tedy zkoumat obraz šlechty v periodikách devatenáctého století a na základě toho vysledovat, jaký stereotyp tyto tiskoviny čtenářům předkládaly. Dala jsem si za úkol zjistit, jakým způsobem se v tisku na šlechtu nahlíželo a kolik jí bylo dáváno prostoru. Sledovaným materiálem se mi stala dvě periodika, která byla určena široké veřejnosti, tedy Světozor a Zlatá Praha. Oba tyto časopisy vycházely takřka čtyřicet let a plynule přešly ze století devatenáctého do století dvacátého. Jejich publikem byla většinová měšťanská společnost, která získávala v liberalizující se společnosti stále více prostoru právě na úkor dřívějších šlechtických elit.
Jednu kapitolu jsem věnovala Světozoru a následně Zlaté Praze. Poté jsem se zaměřila na to, v jaké roli je šlechtic nejčastěji chválen a veleben a jaký šlechtický rod je čtenářům nejčastěji dáván za vzor.
Snažila jsem se zobrazit oficiálně prezentované názory na šlechtu či šlechtictví v tomto specifickém úseku dějin. Analýzou dobových periodik je však druhotně vytvořen i celkový obraz tehdejší společnosti a názorů oficiálně prezentovaných médii. | cze |

I tried to find stereotypes about the nobility, which were usually presented in the press, newspapers and magazines. Světozor and Zlatá Praha are the main materials that are this diploma work based on. Both were widely spread and published for forty years, during the second half of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century. They were usually read by townspeople, a class of society that became the direct competitor of the nobility.
One chapter deals with Světozor and Zlatá Praha. This part of the work depicts the positive role of a member of the aristocracy and says which aristocratic family served as an example. By analysing the press I tried to find official presented opinions about the nobility, which were published in the media of the 19th century. | eng |
