| dc.description.abstract | Anotace
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zobrazením ženy jako menšiny v učebnicích angličtiny pro druhý stupeň základní školy. V teoretické části je uvedeno proč je ještě stále nutné považovat ženu ve společnosti za menšinu. Dále je teoretická část rozdělena do dvou oblastí. První z nich se věnuje přiblížení pojmu gender. Vysvětluje jeho podstatu a důležité okolnosti, které se na utváření genderu podílejí. Ve druhé polovině teoretické části se práce již konkrétně zabývá rolí genderu ve výuce a učebnicích.
Praktická část se zaměřuje na výzkum této problematiky ve třech druzích učebnic, které se v dnešní době používají pro výuku anglického jazyka na základních školách. Zkoumá genderové zatížení učebnic z těchto hledisek: celková koncepce učiva, obraz muže a ženy, ilustrace a fotografie, dialogy, jazyk, pracovní stereotypizace a rodina. | cze |

In my diploma thesis I deal with the presentation of women as a minority in English language textbooks. The theoretical part explains why it is a keep necessary to consider woman to be a minority in society. The theoretical part is divided in two parts. The first part examines gender as a general concept, focusing on substantiality and circumstances, that are important to the formation of gender identity. The second part explores gender is in the context of education and textbooks.
The practical part concentrates on the research of gender representation in three kinds of the textbooks that are presently used for teaching English language. The aspects being researched are: the whole conception of the curriculum, and the portraying of man and woman through pictures, dialogues, language, occupational stereotyping and family. | eng |
