| dc.description.abstract-translated | This graduation thesis evaluates the translation of Gessner´s Idylls, which were translated in 1819 by Václav Hanka. It reviews a quality and haecceity of Hanka´s translation on the basis of comparative methods and his manipulation with the language with a view to the historical, social and cultural context. Czech language was being formed during the Czech National Revival. Czech and German society had different ideas about the norms and social values. This fact was strongly reflected in the final form of the secondary text. Hanka´s translation hasn´t been examined properly yet. | eng |
