| dc.description.abstract | Tato diplomová práce zkoumá případy existenciálních konstrukcí there, v nichž nocionální podmět je modifikován činným participiem. V rámci teoretické části výzkumu vycházející z odborných textů je popsáno několik dalších variant konstrukcí plnících na rovině FSP stejnou funkci jako tyto existenciální konstrukce. Praktická část se na základě zkoumání excerpt z autentických textů funkčního stylu uměleckého a publicistického věnuje kvantifikaci četnosti výskytu existenciálních konstrukcí modifikovaných činným participiem. Dalším cílem je na základě porovnání anglických existenciálních konstrukcí a jejich českých překladů rozhodnout, jaké struktury představují českou obdobu těchto existenciálních konstrukcí. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This diploma thesis examines cases of existential there-constructions in which the notional subject of the clause is modified by the present participle. The theoretical part of the research is based on the scientific studies. It focuses on the description of some other variants of constructions functioning in the same way as the existential clauses on the FSP level. The practical part of the thesis is aimed at the analysis of the excerpts gained from authentic literary genres of fiction and journalism. The practical part also tries to quantify the frequency of appearance of the existential clauses modified by the present participle. Besides, the thesis also tries to compare the above-mentioned type of English existential constructions with their Czech translations. According to the results of such comparison, the thesis suggests which structures represent the Czech equivalent of these constructions. | eng |
