| dc.description.abstract | Východiskem a cílem této práce je pokus o objektivní zhodnocení tvůrčích aktivit a vlivu některých anglických literárních tvůrců (K. Amis, J. Osborne, J. Wain, J. Braine, A. Sillitoe, D. Storey), kteří patřili k představitelům generace "Angry Young Men". Interpretační část práce je postavena na analýze jejich individuálního autorského vývoje a zakotvena v širším společensko-historickém kontextu. Práce si klade za cíl objektivně ozřejmit, proč byli autoři po určitou dobu zjednodušeně označováni jako "Angry Young Men". V závěru se práce pokouší shrnout jejich vliv na dobové postoje a literární současníky. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The starting point and focus of this diploma thesis is an attempt at objective evaluation of the creative activities and influence of a few English writers (K. Amis, J. Osborne, J. Wain, J. Braine, A. Sillitoe, D. Storey) who seemed representatives of the generation of "Angry Young Men". The textual interpretation is based on an analysis of their individual literary development and grounded in a wider social and historical context. The thesis aims to explain consistently why for some time the authors were inaptly labelled as "Angry Young Men".
