| dc.description.abstract | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá iniciální pozicí informačního centra v současné angličtině. Jedná se o struktury, které nejsou v souladu s principem tzv. end-focus. Cílem práce je zjistit, které větné členy a za jakých okolností nejčastěji fungují jako iniciální réma. Na začátku teoretické části jsou popsány funkce slovosledu a podrobně charakterizována funkční větná perspektiva a teorie výpovědní dynamičnosti. Dále se práce podrobně zabývá rématem a faktory ovlivňujícím AČV a případy, kdy se réma nachází v iniciální pozici. Praktická část se věnuje analýze výskytu iniciálního rématu v různých žánrech literatury a také jeho výskytu v ústní komunikaci. Četnost výskytu iniciálního rématu, včetně jeho druhů, je shrnuta v závěru práce. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This diploma thesis analyses instances of the initial position of the information focus, the rheme, in present-day English. Initial placement of the rheme is found in structures that go against the principle of end-focus. The aim of this work is to identify which clause constituents, and under what circumstances may function as the initial rheme. The initial section of the theoretical part deals with a description of word-order, and the basic concepts of functional sentence perspective, such as communicative dynamism. Then it continues with the rheme and the factors affecting FSP, and, particularly, with cases where initial rheme occurs. The practical part contains analysis of examples of initial rheme in different genres and text types, including oral communication.
