| dc.description.abstract | Tato práce se zabývá variabilitou jepic skupiny druhů Baetis fuscatus (Ephemeroptera: Baetidae). Studie je založena na třech hlavních tématech: První z nich je rozlišování mezi dvěma velmi podobnými druhy, Baetis scambus a Baetis fuscatus na základě morfologických struktur, konkrétně jejich ústního ústrojí - labiálních palpů. K analýze tvaru labiálních palpů jsem použil počítačovou analýzu tvaru. Druhé téma se týká platnosti druhu Baetis beskidensis, druh je posuzován na základě morfologie a DNA sekvencí (sekvence byly získány pro topotypický materiál poprvé). A nakonec byly zkoumány vzorky z Korsiky, s cílem objevit nové druhy skupiny Baetis fuscatus. Zjistil jsem, že není možné rozlišovat druhy Baetis scambus a Baetis fuscatus na základě tvaru jejich labiálních palpů. Baetis beskidensis je morfologicky rozdílný, ale geneticky neodlišený druh od ostatních zástupců skupiny Baetis fuscatus. Neobjevil jsem výrazné morfologické rozdíly ve vzorcích z Korsiky, ale poukázal na možnou existenci nových Korsických druhů. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis deals with a variability of the Baetis fuscatus species-group (Ephemeroptera: Baetidae). This study contains three main topics: The first one is distinguishing between two highly similar species, Baetis scambus and Baetis fuscatus based on morfological structures, specifically their mouthparts - labial palps. To analyze the shape of the labial palps, I applied a computerized outline analysis. Second topic is focused on the validity of Baetis beskidensis as a distinct species based on the morphology and DNA sequences (obtained for the topotypical material for the first time). And finally, I also investigated some samples from Corsica in attempt to discover new species of the Baetis fuscatus species-group. I found that most probably it is not possible to distinguish between
Baetis scambus and Baetis fuscatus based on the shape of their labial palps. Baetis beskidensis is morfologically different, but genetically not distinctly separated from other representatives of the Baetis fuscatus species-group.
