| dc.description.abstract | Poranění mozku se řadí mezi jedny z nejčastějších úrazů obecně. Pacient s poraněním mozku je ve většině případů hospitalizován v nemocničním zařízení, kde by mu měla být poskytována komplexní ošetřovatelská péče. Jelikož sestra má nezastupitelnou a významnou roli v průběhu ošetřování a obvykle bývá s pacientem při příjmu, podílí se na léčbě, je u vzniklých komplikacích a nebo při uzdravení a propuštění pacienta, je důležité, aby měla dostatek vědomostí a znala úskalí této péče.
Cílem této práce bylo zjistit specifika ošetřovatelské péče u pacientů s poraněním mozku a dále zjistit povědomí všeobecných sester o možných komplikacích, které mohou nastat u pacientů s poraněním mozku. Byly stanoveny výzkumné otázky: Jaké mají všeobecné sestry znalosti v oblasti ošetřovatelské péče o pacienty s poraněním mozku? Jaké jsou nejčastěji se vyskytující komplikace u pacientů s poraněním mozku? Jaká jsou specifika ošetřovatelské péče u pacientů s poraněním mozku? Jak sestry reagují na vzniklé komplikace u pacientů s poraněním mozku? Jaké možnosti mají sestry ve vzdělání v oblasti problematiky ošetřování pacientů s poraněním mozku? Pro zpracování empirické části bylo zvoleno kvalitativní výzkumné šetření, formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů a zúčastněné pozorování.
Dle výsledků této práce lze říci, že co se týče ošetřovatelské péče o pacienty s poraněním mozku a jejích specifik, mají sestry dobré znalosti. Sestry na traumatologii ale kladou větší důraz při příjmu na pacienta, odpovědích sester z nejmenovaného z oddělení se pacient ztrácí a sestry hovoří spíše o vyšetření či operacích. Sestry jsou také schopny odhalit komplikace a vhodně je řešit. Ovšem sestry z nejmenovaného oddělení jsou zas schopny lépe referovat o tomto poranění i komplikacích, než sestry z traumatologie. Proto považuji za důležité, nabídnout sestrám další vzdělávání v této problematice, které dle výsledků rozhovorů v některých případech chybí.
Výsledky této bakalářské práce mohou být prezentovány na seminářích anesteziologicko-resuscitačního a traumatologického oddělení. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | A brain injury generally belongs to the most frequent injuries. A patient with a brain injury is mostly hospitalized in a healthcare facility, where he/she should be provided with the complex medical care. As a nurse has an important and irreplaceable role in the care, she usually assists a patient at the admission, participates in the treatment, she is present at all complications that arise or at patient's recovery and release, she should have sufficient knowledge and know the rigours of such care.
The goal of this thesis was to find out the specifics of the nursing care of patients with brain injuries and to ascertain the knowledge of the possible complications that might arise in patients with brain injuries, among general nurses. Research questions were set: What is the level of the knowledge of nursing care of patients with brain injuries among general nurses? What are the most frequently occurring complications in patients with brain injuries? What are the specifics of the nursing care of patients with brain injuries? How do nurses respond to complications that might arise in patients with brain injuries? Quantitative research carried out in the form of semi-structured interviews and participant observation were chosen for the elaboration of the empiric part.
We can conclude on the basis of this work that nurses have good knowledge of the care of patients with brain injuries and its specifics. Nurses from traumatology departments however pay higher attention to a patient at the admission, a patient is disappearing from the answers given by nurses from anaesthesia departments, they more likely speak about examinations and operations. Nurses are also able to reveal complications and deal with them. However, nurses from anaesthesia departments are more capable of referring to this kind of injury and the related complications than those from traumatology. This is why I consider important to offer nurses further education in this issue, which they seem to miss according to results of the interviews.
The results of this bachelor thesis can be presented at seminars at anaesthesiology and traumatology departments. | eng |
