| dc.description.abstract | Cílem této diplomové práce je analýza životního cyklu a strategického rozhodování ve vybraném podniku. Hlavním cílem práce je analýza vodohospodářské společnosti ČEVAK a.s. se sídlem v Českých Budějovicích a návrh doporučení pro zlepšení. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část práce obsahuje teoretický popis životního cyklu organizací a strategického managementu. Dále obsahuje teoretický popis strategických analýz. Teoretická část je tvořena z českých i zahraničních zdrojů. Druhá část je již samotná analýza vodohospodářské společnosti, způsob jejího fungování, životní cyklus společnosti a kombinace strategických analýz. Informace pro tuto část byly zjišťovány pomocí rozhovorů s vedením podniku a zaměstnanci a také z dostupných výročních zpráv. Závěr práce obsahuje diskuzi ke zjištěním a doporučení. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The main aim of this thesis is to analyse the life-cycle of a water company and its strategic decision making, and then to suggest possible changes to improve the business. For the purpose of the thesis the selected water company was CEVAK a.s. located in České Budějovice. The first section of the thesis contains a theoretical description of the company's life-cycle and strategic management. The strategic management section mainly contains strategic analyses as it is a very important part of decision making. The theoretical section is mainly processed from literary sources and also contains theoretical schemes. The second part is an analysis of the chosen water company.
