| dc.description.abstract | Tato práce poskytuje podrobnou analýzu tří děl Reného Magritta na myšlenkovém pozadí studií vizuální kultury a sémiotiky. Vzhledem k tomu, že se tyto disciplíny na našem území teprve etablují, je první část práce věnována vytvoření teoretického rámce, pro interpretaci Magrittových děl. Kromě této části, věnované obecně problematice lidského vnímání obrazů, se předložená práce věnuje jednak dynamice vztahu slova a obrazu, která ovlivnila Magrittovo dílo, a jednak samotné interpretaci vybraných děl. Na základě interpretace Magrittových děl se snažím osvětlit způsob, jakým si vytváříme názor na zobrazení a jak hodnotíme okolní svět skrze ně. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This work provides a detailed analysis of three works by René Magritte based on the theoretical background of Visual Culture Studies and Semiotics. Since these disciplines still need to be better established in Czech research, the first part of the thesis is devoted to creating of theoretical background relevant to the interpretation of Magritte's works. In addition to this part aiming at the issue of human perception of images in general, the thesis also deals with the interpretation of selected works and the dynamics of the relation between word and image that had influenced Magritte's work. Based on the interpretation of Magritte's work, I try to illuminate the ways in which we perceive images and evaluate the world through them. | eng |
