| dc.description.abstract | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem jedné z největších humanitárních katastrof od druhé světové války - syrskou občanskou válku. Důraz je kladen na postoje české a německé diplomacie vůči tomuto konfliktu. Nejprve je čtenář obeznámen s aspekty autoritářského vládnutí na Blízkém východě. Tyto aspekty jsou analyzovány v širším kontextu, ve vztahu k Arabskému jaru, které začalo v roce 2011 a později se vyvinulo do Arabellion (Arabélie). Zadruhé jsou vylíčeny hlavní události Syrské občanské války (až do konce roku 2018), aby čtenář mohl získat přehled o průběhu této války. V neposlední řadě jsou autorkou analyzovány a komentovány přístupy české a německé diplomacie vůči záležitostem v Sýrii. Jelikož oba státy, ČR i SRN, jsou členy Evropské unie, která má vlastní Společnou zahraniční a bezpečnostní politiku, je tento aspekt také zmíněn v závěru práce. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This bachelor thesis elaborates on the topic of one of the biggest humanitarian crises since the Second World War - the Syrian Civil War. Special attention is given to the perspective of Czech and German diplomacy regarding this conflict. At first, the reader is made familiar with the aspects of authoritarian ruling in the Middle East. These aspects are analysed in a broader context, regarding the Arab spring, which started in 2011 and later developed into Arabellion. Secondly, the main events of the Syrian Civil War (till late 2018) are described as well, so that the reader can get an overview of the process of this war. And last but not least, the Czech foreign policy and the German foreign policy towards the affairs in Syria are analysed and commented by the author of the thesis. As both countries are members of the EU, which has its own Common Foreign and Security Policy, this aspect is also mentioned in the conclusion of the thesis. | eng |
