| dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to build an optical path (for further experiments of quantum physics), which was demonstrated on non-linear experiment - spontaneous parametric down-conversion (SPDC). The main theoretical part summarizes the basic characteristics (types, usage, limits) of optical fibres and theory of SPDC experiment.
In the experimental part is briefly described process of optical fibres construction, which were hand-made and polished in laboratory conditions. These optic fibres were used for SPDC experiment, which occurs when the light of high intensity passes through BBO crystal. It contains the results of exploring the efficiency of down-conversion process. | eng |
