| dc.description.abstract | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na život a dílo malíře vrcholného baroka Petra Brandla (1668-1735), který tvořil v období od konce 17. století do 30. let 18. století. Po krátkém shrnutí situace v malířství 17. století v Českých zemích přichází hlavní část práce. Jejím úkolem je postihnout Brandlova klíčová díla v kontextu českého barokního umění, možná východiska jeho tvorby a také vyzdvihnout nejvýznamnější životní události v chronologickém sledu. Práce věnuje zvláštní pozornost, jak již název napovídá, Brandlovým autoportrétům, malířově sebereflexi, sebestylizaci a možným souvislostem těchto děl s jeho životními osudy. Brandlovy vlastní podobizny jako celek naposledy podrobněji analyzoval a popsal Jaromír Neumann. Též se snaží postihnout fenomén autoportrétu obecně a jeho historický vývoj. Hlavním cílem následujícího textu je shromáždění nových poznatků posledních let o Petru Brandlovi, prezentování některých vlastních tezí týkající se Brandlových autoportrétů a jejich konfrontování s dřívějším bádáním. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This bachelor's work Petr Brandl and his self-portraits is to be set on the life and work of a baroque painter of the late 17th century and the 1st half of the 18th century Petr Brandl (1668-1735). After a brief introduction to the painting of the 17th century the text is focusing mainly on the most significant masterpieces of Brandl's in the context of the baroque art in the Czech surroundings, possible influences that might affect his work, and the crucial aspects of his life in chronological order. Afterward, the study is concentrating special attention, as it says in the title, on the issue of the self-portrait in Brandl's paintings, his self-reflection and the role of these works in his life, which had been analysed for the last time by Jaromír Neumann, and the matter of self-portrait itself and it's historical relevance. The major aim of this work is to gather up the new findings of the painter Petr Brandl and to present some of my thesis touching Brandl's self-portraits linking that with the previous research. | eng |
