| dc.description.abstract | V teoretické části je popsán močový systém, historie katetrizace močového měchýře, druhy močových katétrů, komplikace spojené s katetrizací a nejčastější onemocnění, při nichž je permanentní močový katétr zaváděn. Dále je řešena problematika ošetřovatelské péče o permanentní močový katétr v domácím prostředí a edukace pacientů.
Praktická část práce obsahuje výsledky kvalitativního výzkumného šetření získané z rozhovorů s pacienty s dlouhodobě zavedeným permanentním močovým katétrem a ze zúčastněného pozorování sester na urologickém oddělení.
V praktické části bylo prvním cílem zjistit, zda jsou pacienti před propuštěním do domácího prostředí dostatečně seznámeni s péčí o permanentní močový katétr. K tomuto cíli byly stanoveny dvě výzkumné otázky: Jaké informace dostává pacient se zavedeným permanentním močovým katétrem před propuštěním do domácího ošetřování? V jaké oblasti má pacient nedostatek informací o péči o permanentní močový katétr? Druhým cílem práce bylo zjistit, zda pacienti zvládají péči o zavedený katétr v domácím prostředí. K tomuto cíli byly stanoveny rovněž dvě výzkumné otázky: S jakými problémy se setkává pacient v péči o permanentní močový katétr v domácím prostředí? Jak pacienti řeší eventuální problémy související s permanentním močovým katétrem? Kvalitativním výzkumným šetřením bylo zjištěno, že pacienti jsou seznámeni dostatečně s péčí o permanentní močový katétr v domácím prostředí a dokáží o něj pečovat bez větších problémů.
Tato bakalářská práce by mohla sloužit jako podklad pro vytvoření informačního materiálu pro pacienty, kteří budou s permanentním močovým katétrem propuštěni do domácího prostředí. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | The theoretical part describes the urinary system, history of urinary catheterization, types of urinary catheters, complications associated with catheterization and the most common diseases in which a permanent urinary catheter is inserted. Moreover, the issue of permanent urinary catheter care in the home environment and patient education are solved.
The practical part of the thesis contains the results of a qualitative research obtained from interviews with patients with a long-term permanent urinary catheter and from the nursing observation at the urology department.
In the practical part, the first aim was to elicit whether patients are sufficiently familiar with the care of a permanent urinary catheter before being released to their home environment. Therefore, two research questions were set up: What information does a patient with a permanent urinary catheter have before being released for home treatment? In what area does the patient lack information on care of a permanent urinary catheter? The second aim of the thesis was to elicit whether patients manage the care of an inserted catheter in their home environment. Hence, two research questions were set up: What problems does a patient encounter in the care of a permanent urinary catheter at home? How do patients solve possible problems associated with a permanent urinary catheter? A qualitative research survey found that patients are sufficiently familiar with the care of a permanent urinary catheter in their home environment and they are able to care of it without major problems.
This bachelor thesis could serve as a basis for creating information material for patients who will be released into the home environment with a permanent urinary catheter. | eng |
