| dc.description.abstract | Cílem diplomové práce je provést srovnávací analýzu finanční výkonnosti vládou vlastněných podniků v EU zaměřenou na objasnění faktorů, které tuto výkonnost ovlivňují. Nejprve se práce zabývá definicí těchto podniků, jejich vymezením, specifiky a významem pro společnost. Pro porovnání práce obsahuje přehled empirických studií, které se zabývají otázkou, jestli jsou vládou vlastněné podniky efektivní a jakou mají finanční výkonnost.
Finanční výkonnost podniku je hodnocena nejen pomocí tradičních finančních ukazatelů, jako jsou: celková zadluženost, likvidita, produktivita práce, rentabilita aktiv a míra investic. Pro objasnění faktorů působící na finanční výkonnost podniku bude použita srovnávací analýza a popisná statistika. Následně se ověří, zda existuje závislost ukazatelů na těchto faktorech pomocí ANOVA testu. | cze |

with the definition of these enterprises, specifics and purport for society. For comparison, the thesis contains an overview of empirical studies that deal with the question of whether state-owned enterprises are efficient and
effective.
The financial performance of an enterprise is valued using traditional financial indicators such as: total indebtedness, liquidity, labour productivity, return on assets and investment rate. Comparative analysis and descriptive statistics will be used to find the factors that affect the performance of the enterprise.
