| dc.description.abstract | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá primárně iluminací "Tance smrti", pocházející ze středověkého biblického rukopisu Knihovny Národního muzea sign. XVIII B 18 z r. 1441 (fols. 542r a 542v). V první řadě seznamuje čtenáře prostřednictvím krátkého přehledu s dobovým vnímání smrti. Následně rozebírá historický a náboženský kontext doby husitské revoluce a postrevolučního období. Součástí práce je také přehled vývoje knižní malby od dob Václava IV. až do období vzniku rukopisu KNM XVIII B 18, který bývá označován také jako Bible husitského kněze. Nejvýznamnější částí je však popis a interpretace všech souvisejících celostránkových iluminací, zobrazujících Poslední soud, věřící vyznávající své hříchy, svátost eucharistie, Bolestného Krista, Krista soudce, a především Tanec smrti. Závěrem se pokouší odpovědět na otázku, zdali se v našem prostředí originálně pojatý motiv může skutečně označovat jakožto Tanec smrti. | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This bachelor thesis deals primarily with the illumination of "Dance of Death", originating from the medieval biblical manuscript of the National Museum Library sign. XVIII B 18 from 1441 (fol. 542r and 542v). First of all, it acquaints the reader with the perception of death at the time through a brief overview. It then analyzes the historical and religious context of the time of the Hussite revolution and the post-revolutionary period. Part of the work is also an overview of the development of book painting from the time of Wenceslas IV. until the period of the creation of the manuscript KNM XVIII B 18, which is also referred to as the Bible of the Hussite priest. However, the most important part is the description and interpretation of all related full-page illuminations depicting the Last Judgment, believers confessing their sins, the sacrament of the Eucharist, the Sorrowful Christ, the Judge of Christ, and above all the Dance of Death. In the end, it tries to answer the question of whether the original motif in our environment can be called the Dance of Death. | eng |
