| dc.description.abstract | Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá literární a kulturně historickou analýzou tetralogie I Medici současného italského spisovatele Mattea Strukula. Má za cíl představit osobnost a tvorbu padovského autora, podrobněji se zaměřit na ságu čtyř historických románů a v první řadě sledovat obraz florentského rodu Medici ve Strukulových románech a porovnat jej s poznatky moderní historiografie. Nakonec práce představí tento italský šlechtický rod v některých dalších dílech krásné literatury i kinematografie. | cze |

The thesis aims to examine the Paduan author and his work, to focus in more detail on the aforementioned saga of four historical novels and primarily to follow the image of the Florentine Medici family in Strukul's novels and to compare it with the findings of modern historiography.
