dc.description.defence<p>The head of the commission welcomed the student, members of the commission, and the audience. The supervisor Dr. Kotál and the opponent Dr. Jmel were connected online via TEAMS:</p> <p>The student introduced the studied organism, the hard tick and the process of feeding with the importance of tick saliva components, especially serpins. The structure of serpins and the relation between the structure and the function were shown. The procedures were described, followed by the reslts and their discussion.</p> <p>The supervisor and the opponent presented their reviews and the student answered the opponent&#39;s questions. Also, she answered questions from the audience on the possibilities of crystalization, CD spectroscopy usage.</p> <p>5x excellent, final excellent.</p> <p>The commission nominates this thesis for the Award by the Head of the Department</p>cze
