| dc.description.abstract | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá edukací pacienta na chirurgickém oddělení nemocnice v Jindřichově Hradci. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části diplomové práce je definován pojem edukace, následně jsou zde vymezeny oblasti edukace a edukační metody. Ke zpracování diplomové práce bylo použito kvalitativní výzkumné šetření. Technika sběru dat byl polostrukturovaný rozhovor s patnácti pacienty a patnácti všeobecnými sestrami. Analýza rozhovorů proběhla formou "papír tužka" a metodou otevřeného kódování. Výsledky byly rozděleny do kategorií a podkategorií. Pro přehlednost byly jednotlivé kategorie a podkategorie upraveny do grafických schémat.
Cílem práce je: 1. Zjistit rozsah edukace pacientů před plánovanou operací za jednodenní hospitalizace. 2. Zjistit názor pacientů na rozsah podaných informací během jednodenní hospitalizace. 3. Zjistit názor sester na důležitost a efektivnost provádění edukace pacientů v oblasti výživy, pohybového režimu a péči o rány před a po operaci. 4. Zjistit nejčastěji používané metody sester při edukaci pacienta na chirurgickém oddělení. K těmto cílům bylo stanoveno pět výzkumných otázek: 1. Jaké informace byly pacientům poskytnuty v rámci edukace před plánovanou operací za jednodenní hospitalizace? 2. Jaké informace byly poskytnuty pacientům v oblasti výživy, pohybového režimu a péči o ránu během jednodenní hospitalizace? 3. Jak hodnotí pacienti podané informace od sester během jednodenní hospitalizace? 4. Jaký názor mají sestry na efektivnost edukace pacientů před a po operačním výkonu? 5. Jaké metody sestry nejčastěji využívají k edukaci pacientů na chirurgickém oddělení?
Výsledky výzkumného šetření by mohly posloužit jako podklad semináře pro sestry z chirurgických oddělení, se zaměřením na edukaci pacientů po operacích v oblastech výživy, pohybového režimu a péči o rány. Dále by toto výzkumné šetření mohlo posloužit k vytvoření nových edukačních materiálů pro pacienty před a po operaci (např. letáků, brožur apod.). | cze |

| dc.description.abstract-translated | This thesis deals with patient´s education in the surgical ward of the Hospital Jindřichův Hradec. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part of the thesis we define the concept of education and subsequently areas of education and educational methods. In order to prepare the thesis we used qualitative research methods. As for the data collection technique, we used a semi-structured interview with fifteen patients and fifteen general nurses. The analysis of the interviews was conducted in the form of "paper pencil" method and open coding method. The results were divided into categories and subcategories. For the sake of clarity, the individual categories and subcategories have been arranged in diagrams.
The aim of the thesis is: 1 To investigate the extent of patient education prior to elective surgery during an one-day hospital stay. 2 To determine patients' views on the extent of information given during an one-day hospital stay. 3 To determine a nurses' opinion on importance and effectiveness of conducting a patient education on nutrition, exercise and wound care before and after the surgery. 4 To identify the most common methods used by nurses in patient´s education on the surgical ward. To address these objectives, there were identified five research questions: 1 What information was provided to patients as part of their education prior to elective surgery during their one-day hospitalization? 2 What information was provided to patients regarding nutrition, exercise and wound care during their one-day hospitalization? 3 How do patients evaluate the information given by nurses during their one-day hospitalization? 4 What is the opinion of nurses on the effectiveness of patient education before and after surgery? 5 What methods do nurses most often use to educate patients hospitalized in a surgical ward?
Results of the research could serve as a basis for a course for surgical nurses, focusing on education of postoperative patients in the areas of nutrition, exercise and wound care. Furthermore, this research could be used to create new educational materials for patients before and after surgery (e.g. leaflets, brochures, etc.). | eng |
